After the Daibutsu, we headed to the Hase Kannon Temple, dedicated to the goddess of mercy. It was covered with fresh flowers for the new year.

Once you get to the top of the temple area, there are great views of Kamakura. Since all the factories are closed for the holiday, it was really clear.

The temple that houses the Kannon in the background (you can't take pictures of the statue).

Adam had a great time with the other statues. They are holding hands.

The temple also has nice gardens with a pond.

There is also a cave you can walk through, with dedications to various gods.
