Thanksgiving at Disney

As a special Thanksgiving/Christmas treat for Adam, we braved the slightly rainy day and drove (!!!) to Tokyo Disney. We all enjoyed the Christmas decorations. Adam got to ride A LOT of rides. His thought progression through a ride:

When he got in line: "I can't ride this. I want to go home. NOOOO!"
Once he could see the ride: "I want to ride this. It's not YOUR turn; it's MY turn."
On the ride: "I want Mommy! Wahh." At least on the scary parts.
After the ride: "I want to ride again."

The people in line at the beginning of every ride were looking at us, like, "Why are you torturing your kid like that - he obviously doesn't want to ride it?"

In front of the teacups, although it was too dark to get a good picture.

In the teacup.

The Japanese are big on parades and shows. They had a special Stitch holiday parade. Adam loved it, as long as the characters stayed a good distance away.

Along with characters and a huge tree, there were also a bunch of crazy dancing Japanese girls, in bodysuits, with skirts made of various Christmasy materials - poinsettias, presents, etc.

Lottie was still happy at the end of the day - must have been the two hour nap.

Everyone was wearing these crazy fuzzy character hats. They came in all different characters and patterns. Adam wanted to try on a Stitch hat (but didn't get to buy it - we're so mean).

I tried on a Minnie hat. Remember, everyone (not little kids, adults, both men and women) are wearing these. The men were also big fans of the giant Stitch hand gloves. Wish I had gotten a picture of those. I also missed a picture of a little girl in a Disney princess hoopskirt. Priceless!
