Month of the Military Child

On April 10, Fort Hood celebrated the Month of the Military Child. There was a petting zoo. Or at least some fenced in animals to pet. That was good enough for Adam and Lottie.

Petting the pony had to be good enough for Adam - the line to ride the horses was super long.

Adam with a crazy phone.

We ran into our neighbors, the Crutchleys. Adam was super excited. Of course, they all had to run around like nuts.

Adam and Dougie are only six months apart in age.

Lottie and Adam loved the giant inflatable slide and all the bounce houses.

There was a bunch of birdseed to shovel and dump.

Then a magical thing happened: a woman in a golf course drove by and gave us ice cream sandwiches. Best day ever!
