New House

After moving into a rodent-infested house, fighting with the housing company to move us, then being given the choice of three other houses, we settled on this one. We are lucky to be in a large four bedroom duplex, with nice neighbors. We also have a new to us 2009 Mazda 5 (a little smaller than a minivan, seats 6) that we love.
Adam is enjoying the new house, especially stealing all the neighbors' toys (croquet "golf" set).

Lottie, Adam, and Nani are enjoying the fenced-in backyard. Lottie is also enjoying the neighbors' things. And their two dogs.

Still In Transit

We got in to Austin on Monday night. On Tuesday, we got new cell phones and bought a car (pictures to come!). On Wednesday, we got offered a house (on post). On Thursday, we got the dog registered with the vet and signed for the house, then drove the 9 hours to Arkansas. We're now staying with Gram and Bapa for a few days, so we can attend Poppa's funeral (Chris's sweet grandfather) in Magnolia on Saturday. Unfortunately, Lottie was sick, just a little, and now Adam and Chris have got it too! They are camped out in the bathroom, and hopefully, they will feel better for the trip to Magnolia tomorrow.

Busy, busy, busy!

Moving Update

We are officially cleared out of our house, and have our tickets to Austin (the Army reserves, but doesn't buy your tickets until you are outprocessed). We are staying at a friend's house (thank you Theresa!); thank goodness for the separate rooms for the kids. They are sleeping well! We do not have internet access or phone service, so bear with us until we get to Austin, or possibly until we have a new-to-us house at Fort Hood.

We're enjoying our last few days in Japan, but not the rainy season!
