Weekend Strawberry Picking

Better late than never! On April 2, 2011, I took the kids strawberry picking at Sweet Berry Farm in Marble Falls. Adam and Lottie take their strawberry picking seriously - we need enough berries to make lots of freezer jam!

Sweet Berry Farm also makes their own strawberry popsicles. Yum!

Thanksgiving Weekend

We spent thanksgiving in Galveston before heading to disney.  Here are some pictures of the weekend.

Fall Soccer

Adam and Lottie got to play on separate teams this season. Lottie played for the Red Birds. They had a half season - just about right for 3 and 4 year olds. The kids were great. They even went the right direction in all the games, and about half of them scored. Lottie scored in all the games and is a great dribbler, even though she is one of the youngest players.

Adam got to move back up to the 5 and 6 year old league. His team was the Yellow Dragons, although Adam wanted to be the Lava Sharks, then the Yellow Tigers. His team also did really well. It was amazing to see 5 and 6 year olds figure out teamwork and passing. Adam is a great soccer player. He had a lot of breakaways and a few goals, even though he is (like Lottie) one of the youngest kids. I had a great time coaching both teams!

New Pictures

There were a lot of soccer parties recently.  Adam and Lottie both had season end parties.  Very fun!
